After being in this house for three years, our landlord came to us on the eve of us signing another year's contract and said that he wanted to give us first dibs on buying the house. He decided he wanted to put it on the market, since the housing market was picking up. We appreciated him thinking of us first, but it is just too big of a house for our shrinking family. We have actually been saving and looking at homes to buy for the past few months, but haven't found one that has met all of our requirements #1 low price and #2 in the right school district and #3 one level and #4 low price. So we were forced to look for another rental. It is going to be hard for us to leave our beloved ward! We were not surprised at how short of a time decent rental homes stayed on the market, usually taken by someone on the first or second day. So we felt blessed to find one that was $300 lower than what we were paying, and right down the street from where both kids will be going to school next year. We need to downsize, and Larry thinks that it should be easy as we only have two kids left at home. But the problem is we still are storing boxes from the three girls, and all of our own junk from almost 30 years of marriage!!! I will not be able to park a car in the garage, as it will be FULL of boxes for a very long time, I am afraid. I just try to focus on the money we are saving.

Can I say Sunday was not the same without Josh trying to be serious as he served us the sacrament? I kept waiting to send Abby or Lydia over to sit with you to keep their pleas from being heard around the chapel. You were very missed.
