Britteni's Family Come for a Visit

We were SOOO excited, Britteni was bringing her family to Idaho for a week's long visit!!! Cudo's to my son-in-law for not only using his vacation time to come visit us, but for his willingness to drive with three small children the 14 hours! Rachel and Jessi made them this welcome banner: 

We did so many fun things:  several trips to the park, which is only two houses down from our house, we played lots of games, did some art projects, played with the new doll house Grampa got, ate lots of yummy food, went to a few movies, and visited Target several times, and had so much fun at Chuckie Cheese!

Ember Rose, who will be two in July, absolutely loved being with her Uncle Josh!!  She would run up to him, hug his legs, or pat him to give him a love tap.

The girls loved my "breakfast cake" and asked their mommy why she didn't fix it.  Bella had a lot of fun helping me in the kitchen making Mickey Mouse pancakes, chocolate chip cookies, and this breakfast cake. She is a GREAT helper!!!  Ember just enjoyed helping to eat it all!!!!

Gramma loved meeting Cohen, who we all call CoCo!!  She is such a little happy girl, always ready to give a big, huge smile and she has the cutest little laugh!  Just a doll!!!!

 It took Ember Rose a few days to truly warm up to Grampa, but she soon found out what a fun guy he is.  We spent one afternoon at Chuckie Cheese, and had a blast playing the arcade games!

 So this is an example of when Ember would just run up to Josh and give him a hug.  She is so quick, I am surprised that I caught this.  She is giving his legs just a big hug before she runs off to ride another ride.

 The electric gorilla was one of the kids' favorites.  Even Bella could withstand the vibrating to earn 6 tickets!

 Rachel was sure lucky, she spun and won 100 tickets!

Britteni was so grateful to be able to see her Aunt Betty again and to meet her husband, Lyn.  

It brought Brit to tears as she heard Betty's voice.  It was so sweet.

 Saying good-bye is always hard.
