Our Summer Drama

This summer had it's fun moments, like going to the Oregon Coast and having Britteni's family coming here for a visit.  But we had a difficult summer, too.  It started with Larry needing to look for a new job.  He was given notice that his job wasn't making the law office enough income to justify his salary.  He wasn't too surprised, but still it was stressful to be looking again.  The good news is that within 5 weeks he was offered a job here in Boise.  He is once again a Director for an assisted living facility.

The other stress, and this was even harder for me, was that things didn't work out with Jessi and her missionary, Joel.  They dated for a few weeks, and then his feelings changed and it broke her heart.  It was a very difficult thing for her to go through.  I wish him the best, but I fought the Mama grizzly bear feelings of wanting to hurt him for hurting her.  She decided to go back to Provo early, and was blessed with being able to work for four weeks at her previous job and that helped build up her bank account.  She is doing ok and is looking forward to dating A LOT this her Senior semester!!

Jessi is feeling very blessed as she was awarded a full-tuition and books scholarship---good until she graduates! Her boss is the one who helped her get this scholarship.  He thinks so highly of her and how hard she is working for put herself through school.  Isn't that GREAT!!????!!!  She So deserves this!!!

I spent a lot of time going to the temple this summer.  It gave me such peace!

We all got through this difficult summer, and took one day at a time.  We all have faith that the Lord has a plan for our family; that He is aware of us and that He hears our prayers.  We have faith in Him and pray that we accept His will for us.
