How does Joel and Rachel stand that COLD water???
Josh perferred staying close to shore and playing in the sand.
For Jessi's last Saturday at home, we drove up North for a fun day in the sun on the Payette River. Jessi, Joel, Dad, Josh, Rachel and I all had a great time. Dad and Josh stayed and went camping to fulfill another camp out requirement for Josh. (more male bonding time for them!) The river was WAY too cold for me to get more than just my feet wet, but the kids liked it, especially Joel. He dived right in, crazy kid. They made sandcastles, skipped stones, or tried to. We had a yummy picnic lunch. What a fun day! Larry and Josh ended coming home early, due to a very strong wind storm that came up. It had over 70 mph winds, and started snapping trees. Several broke in the campground before they got all packed up. A little scary.......
