Well, we have all had a few difficult weeks, as Teddy has tried to heal from his attack. He, first had a problem with his heart. After getting it diagnosed, and put onto medicine, then, we find out his leg is hugely infected. I took him to the vet's office every day and had them irrigate it and see how it was doing. He almost didn't make it through one weekend, as he was so sick. It was a very hard weekend on us all. The vet took him for the weekend, and gave him IV antibiotics and by Monday, he was doing much better. But the infection continued to worsen, and we were recommended to amputate his leg. So, we did that, and a week later, he is doing well. He is hopping around the house, and eating, drinking, and even going up the stairs. I think his body is stronger now, from not having to fight that strong infection. Jessi came home for General Conference and she was glad to be able to see Teddy. I really am upset to think that it has come to this, but the important thing is, we still have him as part of our family. We are very grateful for that, and for the vet's office who has been so wonderful to him and to us throughout all this ordeal.

Try to get a video of him walking around. I can't believe that he only three legs now, but he's doing well, so that's the important thing. Poor little guy.
