Kind of at the last minute, we got invited to participate with the Brown family in the Caldwell Fourth of July parade. It was a great opportunity, and Josh and Rachel were excited to be in a parade. Josh enjoyed handing out candy to the children!
We then joined them for a delicious lunch of ribs, chicken wings, and all the yummy sides! We missed Joel, but he was there in spirit as we all talked about him and how he will be arriving in the Dominican Republic this week. Jessi was scheduled to work her first ever night shift, and so she missed out seeing the fireworks. Meridian put on a great show! We are sure proud to be Americans!
