Jessica and Devin

Jessi started dating a boy from her ward, Devin Theurer, shortly after returning to Provo.  He had been her friend since she had come home from Thailand, but even though they were attracted to each other, they decided to wait and see what happened over the summer.  When she returned early to work, he was there finishing up his summer semester and it didn't take him long to ask her out.  After a few dates, and they both knew it was becoming something special.  We told her that we needed to meet him and they came home for a weekend visit.  I haven't ever seen Jessi smile and be so happy!!! He is very sweet and kind and will be a great addition to our family.

Devin's parents came up to Provo from Portland and met Jessi over Conference weekend.  The next day, Devin proposed to Jessi!  Look how his house looked when he had to "run home to get something he had forgotten":
